A group of foolhardy professionals with a desire to maintain and expand their circle of acquaintances; to this end two annual events are organized, one around Eid and a summer BBQ. Events are designed around the family therefore every attempt is made to provide for adults, youth and the youngsters. The most encouraging attendees are the young, from very bright students to young graduate professionals at the threshold of interesting careers.

These events are designed as talk shops for the guests and the youth, with professional entertainment to the youngsters. With the soul nourished through all the gossip, there is nourishment for the spirit with a traditional three course meal with free flowing tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks.

A nominal charge to cover the cost of the function is made; any surplus monies or extra purchases are distributed to the guests at the end of the function, along with the written accounts for the particular event. No money is retained or carried forward to the next event; only just enough money is generated to support the particular event! The deposit and the venue hire charge in initially paid by committee members and only recouped immediately prior the event.

Eid Milan’s concept is to make friends, not money; our currency is goodwill, not Sterling; we try to feed the soul, Lord feeds the spirit. Come and join us!
